How we work

So, you're getting married; congratulations! We know how exciting a time it is right now and we also know how much planning you have ahead of you. At Bijou Woo, we have a real passion for paper and we want to make your wedding or special event truly magical. Luckily for you, we have a tried and tested way of working that will keep things simple and enjoyable for you and your spouse to be.

Stage One - initial contact

This is where it all begins. You get in touch with us, and let us know that you are interested in using us to create your invitations, cards or other paper goods. You can provide us with as much or as little information as you like at this stage and we will get back to you to arrange either a meeting or an email exchange of information.

Stage Two - first meeting

At this stage, we would like to meet with you to get a really good idea of what kind of project would be right for you. We will discuss your ideas, the other elements of your wedding, your budget and your timescale's. By the end of the meeting, we will have enough information to provide you with a detailed quote.

If a meeting is not an option for you for any reason, we can arrange to talk over the phone, or to speak via email. We're here to make things easier for you.

Stage Three - quote

After getting all the necessary information from you, we will then provide you with a detailed quote, outlining every aspect of the project and any and all costs involved. On your approval, we will start the project with an initial payment from you to confirm you are happy to go ahead.

Stage Four - first ideas

We will provide you with three original and unique designs based on the information gathered in stage two. Once you have had a chance to look over the ideas, we will discuss what you liked about the designs and how to take the ideas into one final idea. If you are happy with one of the designs, we can go ahead with that, but we are also very happy to take parts of different designs and combine them, or to add things to the designs that you think may be required.

Stage Five - PDF proof

By now, we should be at a stage to provide you with a PDF of the final design, for you to check. Hopefully, this will be the finished product, but if not, there is opportunity for one more stage of changes, so that any mistakes or areas you are not sure about can be amended. Once you are happy with the design, you let us know and we get the design off to print!

Stage Six - delivery

We deliver the final product to you, ready to be sent out to your excited guests!
